The orange, the clown, the corruption, the treason. 

The outward gaze has been used in art through the ages to entice in the beholder making the picture plane a place of mutual exchange. Everything of which 45 is not capable. He never has eye contact with anything beyond himself. 

Before us contempt embodied.

Steve Brodner has created the monumental, from here on official portrait of 45. That heavy bulging of the under eye exposing the depravation of the gaze! Just as the compositional lines created by the pompoms are meeting at his nostrils - another opening of contempt - of which the line across the picture plane reaches through the bent knuckles of his insatiable grabbing.
